I am overwhelmed by the number of incredibly brave and inspirational women who want to share their stories with my KickAss Living readers.
Today’s KickAss Woman, Timoria, reached out to me on Twitter and told me she had a story that she wanted to share with other women….and what a story it is…grab some tissues.
Read Timoria’s incredible story about life changing in a minute. One minute she was giving birth to a baby girl and the next minute she was near death. Timoria shares her journey through surviving near death, experiencing PTSD and learning to live again.
I asked Timoria to share some advice with my readers. Great advice for anyone that is struggling.
Don’t let the stigma of having a mental health issue keep you from
seeking help. No matter what path you are on, you are not alone. The healing
process truly began for me when I sought help through therapy and began to share
my story with other people.
I would like to thank Timoria for sharing her journey. I believe she truly defines what a KickAss Woman is.

Thankful that Timoria found support, guidance and people who could relate to her experience through Every Mother Counts. So happy to hear that after all she has been through she is now feeling great. What a beautiful message she shared for those who are struggling with mental health issues.
Thanks for sharing her story Ann!

This is my first time reading an article in this series – where have I been?! Such an inspiring story – thanks for introducing us to Timoria! I don’t always relate to post-partum stories, but the bit about her having to stare at her baby in the hospital without moving a muscle really hit home for me. Looking forward to the next amazing story you bring to us, Ann!
