Whenever I think about Bermuda, I envision turquoise water, pink sand and endless blue sky. Sounds like paradise to me and the reason that Bermuda has been on my Kickass bucketlist for years!
My friend Mary and I are planning a trip to the lovely island in the near future so I have been doing a lot of research about the history, culture

10 Places I Want to Visit in Bermuda
1.Visitors are not allowed to rent cars in Bermuda so the best method of transportation is renting a moped or a Twizy. We are going to rent both and travel the entire island during our stay.
2. Go underground and visit the Crystal and Fantasy caves. The caves feature soaring stalagmites and icicles of white limestone dripping from the ceiling. Visitors can walk on a floating bridge and peer below into a crystal clear lake.
3. Explore the Unfinished Church. The church is located in historic St. George. The church was supposed to replace the damaged Church of St Peter just down the road but due to funding problems, parish infighting and yet another damaging storm, construction was never completed. Now the picturesque ruins can be visited at no charge.
4. Walk around the historic town on St. George (
5. According to Google, the Rum Swizzle and the Dark & Stormy are the two unofficial national drinks of Bermuda. I would like to try each 🙂 Numerous blogs recommend visiting the Swizzle Inn to sample a delicious Rum swizzle so you know that is on the list of places I want to visit in Bermuda.
6. Visit the stunning Horseshoe Bay Beach. The beach is very popular and has been named one of the top beaches in the world. The beach has crystal blue water, pink sand and there are rock formations and hidden caves nearby where people can go explore!
7. Walk the Railway Trail. You can walk or ride a bike along the 18 mile scenic path that goes from one end of the island to the other. The trail follows an abandoned rail bed and winds through tranquil landscapes and along stunning rocky coastlines. There are many activities to do along the trail and also places to go for a swim and experience a legendary Bermuda sunset. Motorized vehicles are not allowed on the trail so it sounds like a great way to spend a day.
8. Visit the
9. Do yoga and attend a bonfire party at Tobacco Bay. I’ve always wanted to do yoga on the beach and here is my chance! We will make sure to go visit in the evening as well to attend one of the popular bonfire parties. Looks so fun!
10. Enjoy watching the sunset at Daniel’s Head Park. It has been described as one of the best places to watch the sun sink into the sea.
I can not wait to go to Bermuda and visit the places on this list!
Have you been to Bermuda? Do you have any suggestions that I should add to my list?
