When I started writing this series, it was an outlet for my grief and a way to share my feelings. I never expected to get so many comments and love from everyone. I am truly grateful for each person that read the posts, left a comment or sent me a note. Your love and support means so much to me and helped make this week a little bit easier.
For the first time in 5 days, I feel happy. I woke up this morning, patted myself of the back and said “you got this”. Even though I still have to deal with the 4 year anniversary, I feel confident that I will be ok.
Today, I am grateful for my family. My parents and my sister have been my rocks during the past 4 years. Their love and encouragement surrounds me everyday and I am so thankful.
I am grateful for my extended family. My inlaws (also BILs and SILS) are wonderful people who always give the kids and I so much love. They always check in on us, make sure we are ok and make us feel so loved.
I am grateful for my friend Kathy who keeps me positive and reminds me how blessed I am.
I am grateful for my friend Jojo who makes me laugh and dream about the future.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you all for taking care of me and the kids and for helping us move forward and live life.
I love you all.
My challenge to you – Tell me one person you are grateful for and why and then go tell them. Give them the present – your gratitude.

I once wrote about my husband, my rock… and he is. Steadfast. I am grateful every single day and he knows it.
I also just read him Day 4’s post and bawled like a baby (again). He’s a keeper, Ann! He can tolerate the ugly cry. 😉
I am also grateful to know you and to see the way you have taken charge of your life to move forward. You set an amazing example and really do kick butt!

How strange is the universe – I just found out a very close friend is about to become a widow and I stumble onto your website. By the way, wonderful job of design and execution on your site. Jan

I am so sorry to hear about your friend. Being a widow is a sisterhood no one ever wants to join. If your friend needs someone to talk to, please let me know.

Hello Ann.
I so much agree with that image quote of yours, its always good to express our gratitude to people, this will make them to understand how special they’re to us and how well they’re appreciated.
As for me, I’m very much grateful to God for all he has giving me in life and also to my parents for their supports and undying love for me.
I am also grateful to all my wonderful friends, there wouldn’t have been me without them.
Thanks
