Sin City has so much to offer, and these Free Things To Do In Las Vegas are just the beginning. Outside the fun shows, theater experiences and of course time at the slot machines or card tables, you may want to do some other frugal things. Stretch your dollar a bit more by heading out and experiencing everything Las Vegas has to offer on a budget. These free things to do in Las Vegas are some of my personal favourites.
Free Things To Do In Las Vegas
Walk or drive the strip: To see everything a walk down the strip is the best choice, but a drive down can be great as well. Spending time slowly taking in the buildings, lights and general atmosphere can take a few hours all by itself. It is a must for everyone who visits Las Vegas.
View the fountain show at Bellagio: Periodically the Bellagio fountains will create beautiful displays. This is a great place to stop on your walking tour of the strip and simply watch the beautiful water display in action.
Banger Brewing Tour: If you are a beer enthusiast, this is a must. The free tour gives you a behind the scenes look at the process to bring you that favorite beer. A few dollars out of pocket lets you taste some great new or classic flavors. Remember this one isn’t kid friendly, so plan this when the kids aren’t with you, or you have a babysitter.
Free circus acts at Circus Circus: Circus Circus is an older hotel and casino, but still a great location to stop by for a free circus performance throughout the day. Head over and watch a fun circus show that usually happens at least once an hour around the clock.
Shark tank at the Golden Nugget Casino: This casino and hotel has one of the most sought after pools in the area. The shark tank and giant shark experience are well worth going to see. However, since this is the hotel pool area – it will be crowded. For a $30 fee per person you can get an up close and personal tour and experience with the sharks.
Volcano Eruption At The Mirage: In front of this beautiful and famous casino and hotel you will find the volcano that erupts nightly. Usually at 8 pm and 9 pm you will hear the sounds and see the lights of this fun and free show. Crowds begin to gather early, but street performances will keep you entertained while you wait for the main attraction.
Freemont Street Experience: The lights, street performers, music and more will make this worthwhile. Freemont street is busy any time, but it is very busy at night and geared more to adults.
Neon Graveyard/Museum: Walk by and peer over the fence, or sign up for a guided tour to learn about the different pieces of neon that have been salvaged from buildings through the years.
These are just a few of the fun free things to do in Las Vegas. You’ll find so much more inside each casino and hotel to keep you busy throughout your stay in the fun city. Las Vegas is a great place to visit for a fun weekend getaway, or even a great week long vacation with your family.
