I recently asked Twitter about self care and pampering. I wrote about my recent love for massages and have a great giveaway to share with my readers.
KickAss friend Sandy shared the following about why she enjoys getting regular manis and pedis:
“A few days ago, I decided to pamper myself to a manicure & pedicure. I gain great stress relief from them. I always look forward to my next visits. It’s that tiny moment that you relax, enjoy and getting away from everyday stress. Oh, what a wonderful moment!!!….Do I only get manicures and pedicures for special occasions? No! I get them regularly and it brings a smile to my face and lets not forget what is does for my body and mind. Every time I am out there, I feel like a million dollars. Not only does it look lovely but I feel like I’m walking on clouds. Which means, stress free.”
Going for regular manicures and pedicure can be expensive so Sandy has provided the following wonderful herbal foot soak recipe. It can also be used for your hands. She also mentions “The ingredients can be found just about at any pharmacy or health store. If you’re a gardener, you are half way there. As for the glass jar, I found mine at a dollar store. Remember, always treat yourself to the beautiful things in life. Now, relax and be stress free.”
